Trajectory Beverage Partners Marks New Approach for Diamond Estates Wine & Spirits Inc.
September 12, 2018, Oakville, Ontario— Diamond Estates Wine and Spirits Inc. (“Diamond Estates” or “the Company”) (DWS-TSX Venture) today announced a new approach to sales and marketing in its agency business. As part of the Company’s plan to strengthen its market position in an ever-evolving business landscape, the agency divison, previously named Kirkwood Diamond Canada, has been rebranded as Trajectory Beverage Partners, reflective of the company’s projected growth and new sales and marketing strategy.
“This is a natural part of the evolution of a new company with new leadership,” said Christopher Terrio, President of Trajectory Beverage Partners. “Trajectory will be focused on being something really special for a select number of companies. We are committed to being more strategic and dedicated to developing partnerships, with a more balanced portfolio that will minimize conflicts within our own house.”
The Company will dedicate more time, energy and resources to brand building and providing meaningful insights and analytics to a select group of beverage alcohol partners that own international and national brands that are strong, but growing.
Trajectory will focus on a core portfolio of beverage alcohol partners with a disciplined approach to ensure it minimizes duplication within sectors and internal competition.
“Our new name and identity represents the next leg in our evolution, a visual signal reflecting our transformation, which includes new leadership, a new vision, new mission and a different way of doing business,” added Terrio. “We have consolidated our operations, continue to add good people across the country and are committed to a strategic approach to brand building.
